“PIPIMAMA” MODEL DEVELOPMENT WITH DOMINO CARD MEDIA IN LEARNING JAVANESE SCRIPT

Abstract

ABSTRACT

Learning process requires an appropriate learning model so that learning process can be run properly and learning aims can be reached easily. This article reports on a study aimed at (1) developing PIPIMAMA learning model using Domino cards media to teach Javanesse alphabet, (2) analyzing the use of PIPIMAMA model using Domino cards media in learning Javanesse alphabet towards learning process and outcomes at Grade 3 SD 8 Kedungsari. The design of this study used Research and Development (R&D) using ADDIE approach including Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The research participants were 18 students of grade 3 at SD 8 Kedungsari. The data were collected from observation, interview, questionnaire, and test. This study has shown that (1) syntax of PIPIMAMA model  using Domino cards media in teaching Javanesse alphabet, (2) result of PIPIMAMA model using Domino cards media which is able to increase student’s learning activities and outcomes. It is shown of pretest average, 47,2 then posttest, 84,2. Therefore, the conclusion of this study is PIPIMAMA model using Domino cards media can give significant impact towards student’s learning activities and can increase student’s learning outcomes.
